At PERC, our goal is to provide accessible perinatal education and resources to the women of Copiah County. Below is a list of current classes that are available for both virtual and in-person, individual and group-based sessions. Please contact us for more information and registration!
Early Pregnancy Class
Our early pregnancy classes include information on what your prenatal care will consist of, including pregnancy-related resources and genetic testing options. You will also learn about early fetal development, safety precautions, and steps to take for a healthy pregnancy.
Childbirth Class
Taking birthing classes is the best way to know what the labor process looks like and what to expect with different types of birthing methods. Our birthing classes often discuss the signs of labor, give you techniques for managing pain and teach you how to care for your baby during those first days.
Breastfeeding Class
During our breastfeeding classes, expectant parents will learn about breastfeeding essentials, including but not limited to: Infant latch-on and positioning. Monitoring infant intake and output. Troubleshooting problems.
Events
We currently do not have any Mom to Be Mini Sessions scheduled at this time.
